This is Us Sailings “First Sail”, a 2 hour introductory sail for anyone who is new to sailing or has little sailing experience. The goals of this class are to have fun on the water and to learn and/or build upon the basics of sailing. Sailing instruction is taught in our 18′ Cape Cod Knockabouts or J-22’s in the sheltered waters of Lewis Bay in Hyannis, Cape Cod.
You will sail with a small group of up to 4 sailors under the direction of our US Sailing Certified Instructors; learn a bit about the wind and weather; get familiar with your boat; set the sails; learn how to make way and tack and take the tiller!
Once you have enjoyed this taste of sailing, Sail Cape Cod offers you lots of options go continue; you can move up to our 10- hour youth and adult sailing lessons (taught over the course of a week or weekend); take private lessons with one of our instructors; get certified to rent one of our Knockabouts and go sailing without an instructor; join in our Friday pick-up fun races,
You can book a place for yourself, or bring family and friends to “First Sail” with you!
